Our Family Ceramics courses gives parents / grandparents / guardians and their children an opportunity to come and spend some quality time together and be creative.

One off session will teach basic skills and allow families to make a ceramic object. Items will be fired and glazed by our team. The set of 3 sessions you and your child will be able to glaze the items yourselves for 2 of the sessions.

Ceramics is an excellent tool for creative engagement and is great for developing dexterity and haptic skills.

Each sessions is from £12-£14 per adult and £10-£12 per child for handbuilding one of or course sessions or £15 per person on the throwing sessions . 

Please note that children need to be over the age of 5 years old for the handbuilding sessions, over 8 years old for the family throwing sessions and between 12-17 for the teen throwing sessions..

The handbuilding projects are aimed at children.

Work can take 4-6 weeks to be ready to collection.

Cancellations need to be made one week before the course date to reschedule or refund.

This course of 3 sessions is for a parents/carers and their child/ children. All materials and firings included..

The course is designed around working together, to create an object each, each session. The work will then have to dry out to be fired and in the 2nd and third sessions you will get to experience glazing your own creations.

The final make will be glazed by us before collection which is about 4 weeks.

£36 per session per adult.
£30 per session per child.

Please note: We are sorry but missed sessions cannot usually be made up at other times. This is because the courses are full, may be delivered by a different teacher and may be covering different techniques or activities. You can read our full T&Cs here.
